–  They help the pure in heart become a Zion people
–  We become Saviors on Mount Zion
–  We throw off the cares of the world and enjoy peace and serenity
–  It is a place of safety and security
–  We become unspotted from the world
–  Families are sealed as part of a welded link back to Father Adam
–  We covenant to 5 laws:  obedience, sacrifice, gospel, chastity, consecration
–  It’s the purest kind of love, a labor for those you have never met
–  A place where needy names lie on sacred altars
–  It’s an earthly united order where all are equal before God
–  We become rightful heirs to eternal covenants to become King and Queens
–  It provides an opportunity of service which is required for exaltation
–  We are cleansed from sin
–  We may feel the presence of those from the spirit world attending their ordinances
–  We receive promises to inherit thrones, kingdoms and principalities
–  The grounds, gardens, statues and fountains are uplifting and inspiring
–  It is illuminated by the light of Christ
–  It’s a symbol to the world of the sanctity of marriage and family
–  A place of communion with the Church of the Firstborn
–  Proof of the restoration; for where the gospel is, there will be temples
–  A place to present a book of your dead, worthy of all acceptation
–  The only place to perform a marriage that is recognized in the heavens
–  A place of sacred altars where heavenly covenants are made and received
–  It introduces equity for those who died without the gospel
–  To be endowed is to be empowered
–  A place where sinful man, clothed in the atonement, is presented a view of heaven
–  A place of washings, anointings, endowments and sealings
–  The beauty and glory of the temple on the outside is little compared to the magnified glorious stages of life, death, resurrection and unimaginable exaltation on the inside.
–  A  place preparatory to receiving a new name which is a key word (DC 130:11) wherein things pertaining to a higher order of Kingdoms will be revealed in preparation for living in the presence of God (DC 130:7)
