(1 Corinthians)

• The need for unity. (1 Corinthians 1:10-11)
• God will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to naught the understanding of the prudent. (1 Corinthians 1:19-20, 31)
• Christ is power & wisdom. (1 Corinthians 1:22-24)
• Men’s wisdom and ideas are silliness to God. (1 Corinthians 1:25)
• Foolish confound the wise; God has chosen, not many wise nor mighty nor noble. (1 Corinthians 1:26-28) (Note: Don’t measure your qualifications for the work by the world’s standards)
• Paul didn’t speak with the cleverness of men but the power of God. (1 Corinthians 2:1-2)

• God and Christ are Gods of comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3-5)

(Galatians)

(Philippians)

(1 Timothy)

• The Law is good if you use it lawfully. (1 Timothy 1:8)
• God wants all to come unto Christ. (1 Timothy 2:4) (Search: *Salvation)
• One God, one mediator; Jesus gave himself a ransom. (1 Timothy 2:5-6) (Search: *Atonement, *Godhead)
• Pray everywhere, with uplifted hands, without wrath or doubt. (1 Timothy 2:8) (Note: The Temple Prayer Circle: (1) Pray with up-lifted, holy hands are “clean” hands and surrendered will/heart. (2) Without wrath is No unkind feelings toward members of the circle. (3) Without doubt is Exercising faith on behalf of those whose names lie upon the altar)
• Body profits little, godliness profits much. (1 Timothy 4:8) (Note: Our focus should be on the improvement of our godliness, rather than on the physical body) (Search: *Improve)
• Be an example of the believers in word, conversation, charity, spirit, faith and purity. (1 Timothy 4:12) (Search: *Example)
• Don’t neglect the gift which is in thee, which was given to you by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by the Elders. (1 Timothy 4:14)

• Not the Spirit of Fear, but of Love. (2 Timothy 1:7)

• The Saviour abolished death and hath brought life & immortality. (2 Timothy 1:10) (Search: *Christ, *Death)

• Bishop may be able to exhort & convince the opposers by using sound doctrine. (Titus 1:7, 9) (Note: a “gainsayer” is one who opposes or contradicts) (Search: *Bishop)
• To the pure, all things are pure. But not so with the defiled. (Titus 1:15) (Search: *Pure)
• Believers should be careful to maintain good works. (Titus 3:8, 14) (Search: *Example)

(Hebrews)

• God spoke in times past unto the fathers, hath spoken in these days by his Son; Whom he hath appointed heir, by whom also he made the worlds. (Hebrews 1:1-2) (Search: *Prophets)
• Christ is the brightness of God’s glory and the express image of his person; He was made so much better than the angels; obtained a more excellent name. (Hebrews 1:3-4) (Search: *Christ)
• Angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation. (Hebrews 1:14) (Search: *Angels)
• God bears witness to the saints thru signs, wonders, miracles & gifts of the Holy Ghost. (Hebrews 2:4)
